Sifu Cherry
Cherry's Bio
I’m the person in charge of Fight Foundation. I mainly teach the kids classes with my crew. I also teach private lessons to kids and adults. But don’t ask me to teach an adult class because the adults will most likely get injured. It’s usually not my fault. Kids just bounce back better.
I try to make class as fun as possible, but I also shake my head when I sound like a broken record. Some people love me, some people don’t. And that’s okay! There are plenty of martial arts schools in our town you can pick from. We are all different!
My teaching style is strict, traditional, and sometimes all over the place. I try to stay in shape because I don’t want to be the fat martial arts instructor that can’t move but makes their students do push ups. I try to practice what I preach. I may just hurt a little longer.
I get asked all the time if I compete. The answer is no. The reason being is because if I get injured, who’s going to run the business. I also have two little kids that need my attention.
I’ve trained hundreds of kids and adults in our area and have succeeded in getting their black belts. I have an MBA, but the main degree I’ve applied in my “career” is my second degree black belt.
I’d love for your kid(s) to come try a class with us!
